How to Make Money with Google Adsense - A 7 Step System

You've probably heard an enormous amount of hype surrounding Google's adsense program. You've probably even got the ads on some of your sites, you may even be making some money from them. A lot of people are making money from adsense, but very few are making any decent money. And I mean decent. Some are earning six figure incomes from adsense alone, no wonder there's a huge amount of hype. Like anything worthwhile though, it takes time to learn techniques that will make your efforts effective. Building a profitable empire of adsense sites the right way takes time. In the current Google dominated climate it's almost essential to have original (or as near as original as you can get) content throughout your sites. Take the time to make your adsense site(s) informative to the reader. The search engines are (quite rightly) frowning upon sites that have been made solely for the purpose of collecting adsense revenue. Here's a brief rundown of how I go about creating a wildly successful adsense site:- 1)Find that niche. Yeah, yeah, everybody gabbles on about finding that special niche. Finding that market with little competition. I'll let you into a secret... no market has zero competition but every niche has va

rious untapped sub-niches! 2)Pick those keywords. There are various tools you can use to do this (Wordtracker or the SEO Book keyword tool) but naturally pick those with little competition. 3)Piece together a search engine friendly site. Make it easy for Google and their rivals to spider your pages. Articles should be no more than two clicks away from the homepage. 4)Write original content. Enough said 5)Get someone else to write original content for you, hire someone from guru.com or Elance or write some more yourself, it's great practice. 6)Place the ads so that the text wraps around them. If they look like they're part of the text they become infinitely more clickable! Add images to the side of the ads too, but be careful not to have images that would "suggest" to the visitor he should click on the ads. Google will fall out with you! 7)Get traffic. A subject all of itself. I favour article marketing. Write articles on the subject of your site and use anchor text to link back to the site. ...and repeat. Seriously, that's really all there is to it. Of course there is some fine tuning to the above system, a few tips and tricks that can improve click-through and traffic. But really, that's the crux of the matter. So what's stopping you? Go out and start building your empire of adsense sites right now!

Search Engine Marketing Wars

Any search or query on a crawler-based search engine like Google or Yahoo results in display of thousands or millions of matching web sites. In most case however only the first ten are the most relevant matches found and are commonly displayed on the first results page. It therefore becomes very obvious that any webmaster would target to keep his website in the first 10 results. One other reason for this being that any visitor is most likely to find his search in the first ten results. Moreover listing beyond the ten would take the website listing beyond the first results page and thus missing the visitor's eye. The following tips and tricks may help you the webmaster to get closer to the goal of getting on to that first 10 results. Careful picking of Target Keywords Visitors search by simple English words or phrases, keyword for you. Make sure each page on your website is optimized for a keyword relevant to its content. The target keywords should always be two or more words in length. A single word is never specific and you will be fighting the odds, wasting time. Position Keywords properly After picking the keywords they should be placed properly. First and the foremost in the page's HTML tag. Then comes the page title, name the page title using the prioritized two or three phrases, for which you want the page to be found. Don't elongate the title; keep it short and sweet, like newspaper headlines. Keep your keywords at a ''higher'' level on the page, towards the top. They should appear in greater density in first one or two paragraphs.
window.google_render_ad();
Avoid usage of tables at the top of the page. This may result in pushing down the content; as a result the keywords will not appear ''higher'' on the page. This happens because the tables are broken when the search engine searches. Also, please avoid using too much of java script. Search engines read java script first and then HTML, again pushing your content downwards. Always keep relevant content Content should always correspond to the keywords you optimize the page for. This will make sure the keywords are reflected in the content. Make sure the text is visible and do not use hidden text. If the text is not ''visible'', search engine do not base their searches on it anymore. Expand you references or keywords; this will add legitimacy to you content. Avoid using features that could be Search Engine Stumbling Blocks Search engines do not recognize maps, frames and image based text. Keep it simple and keep it there, for better results. HTML links and Link building Create links using HTM or text, avoid using image links. Search engines cannot index images so they will no tread the links if they are image links. Always make sure that you link your website internal pages properly, this will result in the search engines finding more of your site. Link building is very important with relevant websites. Use text links to do this. This helps page ranking, page ranking rubs off, so please make sure that the links are relevant and make sense. Finally, do not get obsessed over your website ranking. Despite following all the rules, if you still do not get ranked, you would have realized that search engines are not for your traffic. Try other ways instead of wasting your time.

Did Google Slap You?

According to the blogs, forums and a variety of other news sources affiliate advertisers are getting slapped around by Google big time! Google Adwords costs are skyrocketing, sponsored listing placements have hit rock bottom or are disappearing altogether. What about you? Has your site been affected? Do you want to know the real reason why this happened? Would you like to prevent this from happening to your affiliate site, or regain your Adwords placement? Then listen up. Because contrary to what you might have heard, "Google's Slap" has absolutely nothing to do with squeeze pages or other sign-up forms on your landing pages. Nothing! Then what's the problem? Relevance. It's all about your landing page's relevance people. Technically speaking, Google changed their "Quality Score" standards. The change mostly effects marketers who point their AdWords campaigns to simple sales pages and squeeze pages (AKA lead capture pages). These marketers have lost a lot of traffic and impressions and have seen their cost per click skyrocket. Google has made it crystal clear about its requirements that you make your pages relevant to the keyword, title and description used in your ad. Where does it say that? Right in Google AdWords Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines: https://adwords.google.com/select/siteguidelines.html Following is an excerpt from those guidelines: "If users don't quickly see what they clicked on your ad to find, they'll leave your site frustrated and may never return to your site or click on ads in the future. Here are some pointers for making sure that doesn't happen: Link to the page on your site that provides the most useful and accurate information about the product or service in your ad. Ensure that your landing page is relevant to your keywords and your ad text. Distinguish sponsored links from the rest of your site content. Try to provide information without requiring users to register. Or, provide a preview of what users will get by registering. In general, build pages that provide substantial and useful information to the end-user. If your ad does link to a page consisting of mostly ads or general search results (such as a directory or catalog page), provide additional information beyond what the user may have seen in your ad or on the page prior to clicking on your ad. You should have unique content (should not be similar or nearly identical in appearance to another site). For more information, see our affiliate guidelines." Here's the summarized version: If all of the affiliate links are removed from your site does your site still provide relevant, informative and valuable content for visitors? It really doesn't get any clearer than that what Google wants to see, now does it? All Google is trying to do is get you to improve the quality of your site. Having quality content on your site like articles, reports, news, etc., will also help your AdWords listings. In addition, content rich web sites rank well in organic search engine listings. Through the placement of your site in the search engines, you will be able to attract more and better targeted traffic. Content rich sites are also more likely to obtain incoming links from outside sites. Google loves incoming links. These links will also pull in targeted traffic. Speaking of links, when you add content to your site, link directly to a content page from the landing page. My research has shown, sites with a considerable number of pages have been less effected by Google's Slap. Also, add a "Contact" page to your site and link directly to this page from the landing page. Finally, create a "Site Map" and link to all your content pages directly from the site map. In addition, the content page you’ve linked to from the landing page, should link to the site map. I contacted a few affiliates I know, while doing research for this article and here's what I discovered: The affiliates who provide relevant, valuable content on their landing pages have found their efforts are actually being rewarded during this latest Google Dance. I also discovered, their Adwords costs are actually decreasing, while their placement in the sponsored listings are increasing, thus making their ads more visible. In closing, if you want to avoid Google's Slap, just provide quality content throughout your site, link directly to the content from your landing page, and make your landing pages relevant to the keyword, title and description used in your ad. Google Adsense Profits Mixed In With Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing has become one of the most effective ways to advertise online. It is also one of the easiest ways for anyone with a website to make a profit online. Affiliate Marketing is an agreement between a merchant and a website owner. The website owner, or the affiliate, allows the use of their site for the promotion of the merchant's products by linking to the merchant's website. In exchange, the merchant pays a commission to the affiliate on all sales generated by the affiliate. Every time someone clicks on the link on the affiliate website and proceeds to make a purchase, the affiliate gets a commission. The merchant will pay the affiliate only when a customer clicks on the product link and makes a purchase. Are you a webmaster who needs funds to keep your website running? Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well? Why Affiliate Marketing? Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates. Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products. There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products. Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method is it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs. What about Google Adsense? Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program. While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised. The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad. So, where do all of these lead us to? Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash. All the same, the best benefit of being an affiliate marketer is the opportunity to increase your income; and you can make a profit even if affiliate marketing is only a sideline business. With your own affiliate business, you can earn easily earn extra income, although you do have to exert effort and use your imagination to maximize your earning potential. Indeed, affiliate marketing is one of the simplest and most effective business opportunities on the web today. Choosing the Right Affiliate Program

Most of the times I have to answer merchant questions such as "How many sales are done through Affiliates?" or "How many active affiliates do you have?". These are true and valid questions, but in essence they come from the other side of the business: the affiliate marketer's ability to chose, promote and sell products. Affiliate marketing is really a 90/10 business - only 10% of the affiliates do actually sell something. The reasons behind are very complex and too difficult to discuss here, but the most common reason is because affiliates sign-up for "getting rich" programs, or (and this is the better alternative) for generic and non-targeted products. So here we are, at Chose the Right Program to join. If you work as Sales for a company, well, you have to sell its products, good or bad. Affiliate Marketing really gives you the chance to promote and sell the best products on the market. While it might not be the ideal process for every affiliate, there are several generic steps that can be followed: 1. Make a list of products you own or at least, use I can almost see that you wonder what this is. Let's see. Open your browser, Google for "affiliate programs". See what I mean? You can't really decide what product to promote and sell. Now, if you have the "own/used" list, you can at least have an idea about some products you could talk from real experience. And that's far better than just randomly browsing and choosing a product you've never heard about. You can go ahead and make some products categories. I'm sure I don't have to talk about product quality (you only buy best quality, or at least best value for the money, right?). 2. Choose your "Expert category" From the "own/used" list, what products do you really love? Or which you master the best? What makes you an expert? I bet that you have some excellent products which you use every day or purchased and used with enjoyment. Not many, only a few. This will shrink your list a little, so don't cut everything else, just make an "Expert category" 3. Look for the affiliate programs for the products in your list Now that you have the own/used list of products and the "Expert category", you can start finding out if they are sold through Affiliates. Chances are that many of the products will make it, while the others should go to the recycle bin for later. Once you find affiliate programs for the products, look for the conditions they offer: commissions, payment date, conditions to join and problems. Take out the products in "nasty programs", you now have the own/used/not nasty products and the Expert/not nasty categories. 4. Affiliate competition, demand and conversion rate We have several filters that we can further apply: • affiliate competition (just Google to see how many other affiliates are promoting the selected products, and how good they are) • demand (searches made, general interest in them) • conversion rate (that would be based on some assumptions regarding how many of the visitors will actually buy something) Great, we have own/used/not nasty/low competition/great demand & sales products and the Expert/not nasty/ low competition/great demand & sales products categories. These would make the "Right programs to join". I advice you to start with the "Expert category", but whatever you do, don't make affiliate mistakes. We'll also talk about a lot of tools to analyze keywords, search terms, conversion calculators and more or less all software tools known to affiliate marketers these days. That would be another article, so tune up your RSS reader for the articles to come. Read more free software business articles at www.avangate.com

Pay Per Click Affiliate Programs

There are millions of different affiliate programs on the internet and also offline to join and most are free. During the past 7 yrs, millions of people from all over the world have joined these free affiliate programs in order to generate supplemental incomes or full time as home based businesses. Since most of these affiliates have full time jobs and have little or no computing, website or business marketing and management skills, most have found it very difficult to generate affiliate commissions and reasonable income because they don’t know how to generate website traffics. Therefore, some of them were forced to flock to the so-called internet-marketing gurus to buy internet-marketing e-books, website promotion softwares and read gazillion numbers of silly e-zines to learn how to promote their affiliate programs and websites. Some of these so-called gurus went as far as seducing these internet newbies into attending their over priced internet-marketing seminars for $5000 in different cities in America and other countries of the world. In some of these internet marketing e-books, the so called internet marketing gurus told them that the big secrets of getting rich on the internet were to get massive traffics by placing free classified ads, advertising in FFA (Free For All) websites, placing banner ads, doing pay per click advertising, creating thousands of blogs and pinging them, buying expensive text ad links, doing reciprocal link exchange with other websites, doing opt-in e-mail marketing, joint venture marketing, optimize and submit their websites to search engines, write articles about topics relating to their internet business and affiliate programs and submit them to thousands of article directories so as to get one way links, high page ranks and top 10 ranking so as to get massive traffics. The so-called website marketing gurus seduced them into believing that to be able to do all these promotions they must use certain softwares and programs, which they must buy from them (the so-called internet marketing gurus!) Some of these internet marketer newbies followed all these advices diligently and bought the softwares, did all the recommended internet marketing and promotions. They have done the internet promotion work, but they were generating little or no traffics and sales despite spending thousands of dollars and their valuable time for 1yr-2yrs.Finally, they became fed up and were forced to begin to scream, "Where is the money?" What they did not realize was that most of the internet marketing strategies, which the so-called gurus had recommended, had been out of date, stale, invalid and did not work any more. They did not know that the gurus do not even use those internet marketing and website promotion strategies. This is because most of the so-called gurus had already made their money in various businesses before they got involved in internet businesses. Most had built large customer base for about 10yrs-20 yrs before they began internet business. One so-called internet-marketing guru sold his offline business for about $20,000,000 before he began his internet business and had more than 100,000 e-mail list to market any product to and generate thousands of dollars easily and instantly. He was awash in raw cash and had 100,000 people he could send e-mails to market any product. Obviously, most of the internet marketing strategies he recommended such as opt-in e-mail marketing worked for him and made him rich because he already had 100,000 in-house e-mail list databases of customers! So, in their minds, the so called gurus might have believed that just because their internet marketing strategies worked for them it would work for everybody who bought their $29.95 e-books and website promotion softwares. It is clear that what these gurus have been selling are half-truths. They do not tell their customers the whole truth for obvious reasons. Think about it. Why would a so-called internet-marketing guru sell a powerful internet marketing "secret" which could make him $500,000 to somebody for $29.95? Think seriously and logically about it. Why would such a website marketing guru be naïve enough to sell it to thousands of Tom, Dick and Jane all over the world and therefore create unnecessary competitions for him/her, which would affect his income and profits negatively? This is a no-brainer. It is irrational. No right thinking, rational and profit-motivated businessperson will do that: cut his/her nose to spite his/her face. This will explain why only the so-called website marketing gurus have been getting richer in their internet businesses while the buyers of their internet marketing e-books and website promotion softwares have been doing poorly, and not succeeding as much as the website promotion gurus have in their affiliate programs marketing and internet businesses. Website traffics, visitors and customers are the lifeblood of every business, both on the internet and off the internet. If you cannot get massive website traffics and genuine targeted visitors to your affiliate program websites, you will not generate any sales and affiliate commission and income. It is as simple as that. So what are the secrets, which can help you to begin to generate massive website traffics and genuine visitors so that you may begin generating large amount of affiliate commissions like the super affiliates in your affiliate programs? Here are some common sense useful tips to help you skyrocket your success in affiliate program marketing: (1) Choose and promote only high paying affiliate programs. Before you begin promotion, phone the company and make sure they are real people (and not just a bunch of 12 yr old kids goofing around online) and inquire how long it takes them to pay the commissions and ask how to verify that they pay their affiliates. Ask them to refer you to some of their affiliates so that you may verify everything. Most affiliate companies do not pay the commissions and you will not know until after you had spent time and money for a few months to promote their products and generated a large commission. Then you will find out they would refuse to pay. So check out and research the affiliate program before you begin promotion to make sure you will be paid your affiliate commissions. (2) Select and promote only affiliate programs in high demand with mass appeal but with small number of marketers and sellers/suppliers. The demand must be greater than the supply for you to generate massive traffics and generate large amount of commissions. The higher the demand for the product/service, the more there will be traffics/visitors, sales and large affiliate commissions to be made. (3) Stay away from most free affiliate programs. Since they are free, hundreds of thousands of affiliates may be promoting them already, therefore saturating the market and creating more supply than demand and therefore making it hard to generate massive traffics, sales and affiliate commissions. (4) Create your own affiliate program landing pages for all your affiliate programs. On this landing page, include a short review of the affiliate program and how you have enjoyed it (if you have or how anyone else who bought it enjoyed it.)Or you may use any testimonials at the company’s website.Be sure to optimize this affiliate program landing page with the proper keywords. This will help it to be indexed in the search engines and so get exposures and traffics. If you do not know how to optimize a website/affiliate landing page, please go to our website and get our FREE POWERFUL INTERNET MARKETING E-BOOK, "PRAGMATIC MARKETING, THE HIGH OCTANE MARKETING SECRETS OF MILLIONAIRE WEBSMASTERS" (Go to: http://maychic.com/affprograms.htm) In the FREE "PRAGMATIC MARKETING" e-book, you will learn also how to monetize your affiliate program landing pages so that if your visitors do not click and order the affiliate program product/service, you would still make money from the other money generating programs on the affiliate program landing pages. (5) Promote your affiliate landing pages aggressively. Submit them to search engines every two weeks. You can go to our website and use the FREE submission softwares (http://maychic.com/resources.htm).We also revealed automated website submission services at that page, which you may use. Search engines index billions of websites all the time so competition is stiff. Do not relax and wait for them to come and index your websites and affiliate program landing pages. Submit the affiliate program landing pages to them every two weeks to keep them in the front before them. Why Google and Other Companies Paying for Ppc?

Why google and other companies paying lot of money ,how much they are earning ? these are questions most of the people wondering about.A lot of people strive everyday to make ends meet. Working the 9-5 can be stressful and one can wish to break free from it, and be able to pursue their true goals. A way people started to do this and make money online, was by pay per click advertisements.
People jumped at the opportunity to make money online using PPC ads. If you built a website or blog, you could display pay per click advertisements on it, and if someone were to click on an ad you would be paid. Unlike affiliate marketing where the person has to make a purchase in order for you to make money online, with pay per click advertisements one simply needs to wait for someone to click on an ad and they have made money online.
Another difference between the 2 is that in affiliate marketing since it's pay is based on purchases made the commission is much larger, say a $100 product and the % of commission is 30% you just made $33 and change. When it comes to pay per click, one click can pay out anywhere from $.15(cents) - $100 depending on the niche your covering. Usually you get paid cents per click.
As far as google is concerned they are paying about 2 cents for every valid click.Apart from that people are also getting money from affiliate programs. In affiliate marketing pay is determined by purchase so the number of clicks your link gets is irrelevant if no purchase is made. With pay per click what determines pay is simply a click on the link, and about 30 seconds of navigation in the page.
You can sign up to pay per click networks and make an account with them. Once you make an account you can start making your ads. You can choose a size for the ad unit, color and some networks allow you to choose which advertiser you want to display and which ones you don't. If you have a website or blog, then pay per click advertisements can be a great way for you to make money online from. Join a pay per click network and start making money online today.

6 Business Models You Can Start Building in 2009 Using Google Adsense

That's right. Everytime you do a search on whatever it is your searching for via the Internet you get a list of results. Within that list of results lye's thousands, if not, millions of pages of Virtual Real Estate that is making someone out there on the WWW some handsome profits.
The question is... "what have you done in order to stake your Internet "VRE" claim so you too can enjoy some of that profit as well?"
If you haven't started anything yet, that's okay because I did a little research for you and came up with these "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2009 Using Google Adsense" so you too can benefit like the many others out there online.
The first VRE business model I'd like to talk about are -- Article Directories.
VRE Model #1. Articles Directories.
Article Directories are in my mind are probably one of the best VRE business models on the web simply because they offer your audience and publishers Multiple Channels of information on any topic.
And the facts are, people come online for information.
So, what do Article Directories contain?
That's right... Information! ... and lots of it.
The other great benefit to Article Directories is that you don't have to write a single word if you don't want to because the whole purpose of starting your Article Directory in the first place is to get other people(we also call them authors) to submit their content for your readers and/or publishers to read and use.
Now, the Rule Of Thumb is simple when it comes to growing your Article Directory and that is... the more authors you recruit, the more your Article Directory will grow, filling it full of targeted information for your readers to digest and for publishers to use on their websites.
It gets better, so keep reading.
Did you know that the more pages you have within your Article Directory means... the more search engine food you'll have for the search engines to come and index into their database which will then be displayed within the search engines search results.
Remember in the beginning of this article when I was talking about the search engine results being full of Virtual Real Estate. This is where your Article Directories webpages(or your Virtual Real Estate) will be listed for web surfers find.
This also means that you'll receive a lot of FREE targeted search engine traffic to your Article Directory as it grows giving your authors FREE targeted traffic to their sites and keeping them happy, and at the same time, will be building your VRE nest egg on the WWW.
Are you starting to see the benefits to starting your own Article Directory on the Internet?
I hope so.
But don't go anywhere just yet, I'm not finished.
There's two more things I want to talk to you about before this part of the article series ends.
The first is RSS -- better known as "Real Simple Syndication" and what RSS does is it allows you to syndicate your Article Directories content or just content in general through an RSS feed so that any reader and/or publisher who subscribes to a particular RSS feed within your Article Directory will receive ANY new updated content that is published... INSTANTLY!
The other benefit to a RSS feed is... lets say you have 1000 publishers subscribed to one of your RSS feeds and one of your authors submits a new article at your Article Directory, all those publishers who subscribed to that RSS feed will receive it once that RSS feed updates and when someone clicks on the link within that RSS feed to read the new article, guess where the visitor is sent to?
You guessed it, your Article Directory, with your Google Adsense ads(I'll talk about that in a second) and whatever other related affiliate links you have on that webpage.
Now... for the BEST part, how-to make a $Profit$ with your Article directory.
I'm telling you, this is the easiest money you'll ever make for simply supplying your viewers and the Internet(A.K.A. The Information Super Highway) with what it needs the most, Information!
How do you do it?
Heard of Google Adsense(as I mentioned just a minute ago), because if you haven't, now you have.
What is Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is Googles affiliate program for publishers and how it works is it displays ads targeted towards the content on that particular webpage being viewed.
How do you get paid? Simple. Your reader just has to click on one of the ads within the Google Adsense ad box on that webpage and depending on what the topic is and keyword could pay some handsome commissions(usually between 35% to 50%).
And, guess what? You didn't even have to do any selling OR follow-up.
Not bad and believe me those clicks add up Fast and by having the search engines returning frequently for regular indexing and having RSS feeds(remember, when someone clicks on the RSS feed link on someone elses website they get redirected back to yours with your Google Adsense ads on it and other affiliate links) for other publishers to use on their websites you'll soon see your Google Adsense profits get Bigger and BIGGER!
Well, that's it for now. So be sure to be on the look out for my next installment of the "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2009Using Google Adsense". More more information on Google Adsense Click Below

How Google Affiliate Will Change the World

Amazon, watch out. Earlier today, Google launched an affiliate ad network. Or, rather, it rebranded Performics, the affiliate ad network that came along with its purchase of DoubleClick, as the "Google Affiliate Network." As with other affiliate networks such as Amazon's, participating Website publishers get paid a fee for each referral that results in a sale. Existing advertisers include Bank of America, Barnes & Noble, Citi, Target, and Verizon.
Google constantly looking for ways to improve AdSense by developing and supporting features which drive the best monetization results for our publishers. Sometimes, this requires retiring existing features so they can focus our efforts on the ones that will be most effective in the long term. For this reason, they will be retiring the AdSense Referrals program during the last week of August.
Google acquired the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate operations in March 2008. Together, they're creating new opportunities for monetization, expansion, and innovation in affiliate marketing.
Performics was founded as the first full-service affiliate network in 1998 and was acquired by DoubleClick in 2004. Today Performics Affiliate operates as Google Affiliate Network and remains committed to delivering affiliate channel growth for advertisers and publishers
As part of the integration of DoubleClick, the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network will now operate as the Google Affiliate Network for advertisers targeting users located in the United States. Similar to the AdSense Referrals program, the Google Affiliate Network enables publishers to apply for advertiser programs and get paid based on advertiser-defined actions instead of clicks or impressions
As we can see, most of the affiliate programs like ClickBank, Comission Junctions and Linkshare still control the arena of affiliate world. But soon to be leader, Google Affiliate will replace all the system. Most of the Internet User will still trust Google rather than other affiliate program.
Google Do No Evil seems to be controlling every inch of web space

Google Adsense vs Affiliate Programs

Google Adsense is a structured way to earn good money out of what Google makes from its advertisers on Adwords. The way it works is that advertisers pay top dollar to get their ads listed on Google. Google gets paid on every click that happens on the ad. By distributing the ads on your website and mine, they stand to gain more exposure, regain advertising funds quicker and also pay us good money!
Why you benefit?
The reason Adsense has become so popular is because it allows websites like ours to earn good money from the commissions Google receives from advertisers. By just placing a couple of ads on the site, you can earn a good commission percentage. However, there are certain drawbacks that an Adsense program has.
What it can do for your site
One good thing about Adsense is its immediate ability to boost your page ranking and popularity on search engines. That way you tend to receive a lot of traffic to your affiliate site. Also, people with affiliate programs on their site can actually look at Adsense as an alternate way of supplementing their income. Adsense lets you monitor which ads are performing and earning you most income. They do this by placing some Javascript code into your site which monitors the performance. Most of the time the traffic that comes to your site will most likely not find what they are looking for, on your site alone. That's where Adsense helps you. Even if customers don't find what they're looking for on your site, they can still visit the ads sponsored by Adsense and help provide you additional income. It basically provides you an alternate path to earn money online.
The context
In order to make your Adsense program most profitable as part of your affiliate program, you need to ensure you have contextual and relevant ads placed on your site. Else it defeats the very purpose. You want customers to click on these ads if they don't find something on your site. Hence it needs to be closely related to your website theme and your own products. Most contextual ads are characterized by lots of clicks but poor conversion rates. So make sure to test these ads out before placing them on your site. Pros and cons Both affiliate marketing and Google's Adsense have their own pitfalls and benefits. Here we explain the pros and cons of each.
Google Adsense:
Pros:
- Good for informational sites which do not have associated affiliate products to sell
- It allows you to create a content page without worrying about updating the content
- Very scalable. Adsense sites are low maintenance which make these good for the upkeep of multiple sites.
Cons:
- Not a good income generator when considering long term opportunities. It's because mailing lists are best for building customer relations. In Adsense you aren't asking for a subscription, instead just asking customers to click on ads.
- Search engine dependency. Adsense sites predominantly depend on the search engines to divert traffic. Hence if by chance an algorithm changes on a search engine, you risk losing a lot of income and traffic in the process.
Affiliate marketing:
Pros:
- More long term in nature which allows you to build on assets and customer relations
- Main focus is on creating and building email lists since they are the backbone for all promotional efforts
- Allows you to focus on a niche segment you like. This is unlike an Adsense program which tends to focus on only high paying keywords.
Cons:
- Involves the use and skill over persuasive tactics in order to coax customers to visit the site and buy products. For novices, this can be a difficult aspect.
- Every site needs plenty of effort. You need to spend time in creating product reviews, email list creation as well as web content creation - which can take up considerable time.
Balance it out
Both Adsense as well as affiliate marketing have their own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, the best approach would be to balance the two to maximize your income potential online. You could have content on your site which you are interested in, while combining it with Adsense revenues.

The Google Adsense Affiliate Marketing Business 2day!

The creation of the internet and the mass production of computers in the late 80's changed everyone's lives forever. Now, everyone has the potential to be their own boss whether you are a stay home mom or a manual laborer. All you need to do is search on Google for business opportunities and it will bring up more results than you could ever imagine. Even though you may think it's easy to make a living on the internet, it actually requires a firm business plan and a lot of hard work. You can run an online business in parallel with your current job. In fact 99.99% of affiliate marketers start out this way. As time passes and you start to make money, you will realise that your potential market is a lot bigger than the average stores, and hopefully you will be able to embrace this and give up the 9 - 5. The first thing you'll need to decide is the type of business that's right for you. This should not be taken lightly, carry out lots of research in the chosen market. Then carry out some more research. You need to be 100% sure this business is right for you and your capabilities. There are many ways to make money on the internet, but some of the most popular are: 1. Affiliate programs 2. Adsense programs 3. Selling products Affiliate programs will pay you a commission for selling the products of a particular merchant. You'll have no contact with the customer, as all you do is provide sales leads to the merchant. The merchant, or its website, will hopefully close the deal, and you'll get paid a predetermined commission for supplying the lead or buyer. Adsense programs are essentially hte monetising of a new or existing website using the Google Adsense program. Although nowadays there are many alternatives, like AdBrite, Miva, etc... The system works on the back of the Google Adwords program, where advertisers pay Google to advertise on their Search Engine or websites within the Google Adsense program. You simply place the Google Adsense code within your web pages and if people click on the ads you get paid a commission from Google. This can range from a few cents to 10's of dollars per click depending on how much the advertisers are paying in the Google Adwords program. Generally, a 5% CTR is seen on this type of program. Affiliates with high traffic sites are making lots of money using this type of system. The final method covered in this article is selling products directly (or in this example indirectly). Dropshipping, has been around for years and years, but has become more accessible to the everyday person since the advent of the internet. Essentially, you build a website, with a shopping cart, using the details supplied by the drop shipping company. When customers buy products, you'll receive pay based on what you sell and how many. The best part is the drop ship company supplies all the products to the customers. This works a treat on Ebay! When it all comes down to it, you'll need to set up a business and web site to get the most from E-Commerce or affiliate marketing. It'll take a lot of hard work and dedication but if you stick at it, you will reap the rewards. Just remember Rome wasn't built in a Day!

Merchants place their ads in Google, which is one of the most popular search engines or tools for locating various resources in the World Wide Web. Now the Google Adsense program allows you to display these ads in you website and when your visitors click through them, you earn. The advertiser, which is the merchant, pays Google for every click-through made by the customer and you as a partner of Google, gets a share from that payment. Most likely, visitors of your web site are interested on the theme of your site and specifically, on the content of your web page. So, seeing ads related to their interest would definitely drive them to click through the link or the ad. Using state-of-the-art technology, Google scans your web site and matches the content of your pages to their large database of advertisers; this way, Google is able to find ads that are targeted by the users of your site. In addition, Google changes the ads in your site as you change the content of your pages, so you can always expect the ads to be relevant to your site. Having Google ads in your website is also a way of convincing your users to return to your site. Repeat customers multiply your income without having to exert extra effort to convince them again to click through your links. And your potential to earn doesn’t depend on them alone. Since you already have their confidence, they can be your endorsers as well. They could refer your site to family and friends who probably share the same interests with them. Advertisers in the Google Adsense program range from large international brands to small-time domestic and local businesses, so the targeted market for the ads can range as well you can visit www.firesale-automator.com This adds variety to your site; thereby, attracting different kinds of users. The Truth about Google’s Adsense affiliate program

The truth about Google’s Adsense program is that it is amazing. It’s the greatest affiliate program ever invented. There is no affiliate program that even comes close. If you are not using Google’s Adsense, you’re truly missing out on a great opportunity. I’ve tried several other affiliate programs, and the only one that is creating revenue even close to Google’s, is the Amazon.com affiliate program. Amazon.com’s affiliate program pays 5% commission and up for shipped products. It’s not really clear how Google pays you, but let me tell you it seems very fair. They do not pay per clicks, leads, or click throughs; they have a secret formula that no one will tell. But trust me it works. I was making pennies off of clicks monthly, until I joined Google. Then the pennies became dollars.

Build a website and make money from it

Do you have a website? Did you know that you can make extra money from your website even if it’s just a simple blog or a one-page showcase of your model train? Well, you can! You’re probably not going to be the new Bill Gates but you could be giving out fancier Christmas presents next year (or treating yourself to something nice, if you’re a Grinch) or simply help pay for the hosting of your website! So how exactly do you go about this? Keep reading!
Google AdSense
This is by far the most common way of earning extra cash from your site because it is so easy to do. Google AdSense is basically the placement of discrete text ads on your site, based on the content. If your site is indeed about model trains, Google AdSense will place ads for model trains on your site. Every time someone clicks on one of the ads, you will be paid a proportion of the advertiser cost per click. You can either make these Google ads stand out on your site to try to get people to click on them or have them blend in if you prefer to maintain the aesthetics of your site.
For more information go to the Google AdSense page at: google.com/adsense/login/en_GB/.
Affiliate Schemes
The second most common way of making your website make you money is to sign up to a so-called affiliate scheme. This is basically the promotion of specific companies’ goods on your site. Should someone click through and purchase something, the company will give you a slice of the cake. Once you’ve signed up and placed the necessary bits and bobs on your site, all you do is sit back and watch the money roll in!
There are two slightly different types of affiliate programs; one type is run directly by the company itself (with this type all you do is choose a company who has an affiliate scheme and whose product might be of interest to the readership of your site). The web host Daily, for example, has an affiliate scheme that lets you choose from a variety of banners so that you can get one that fits best with your site. They will give you joining credit of £10 and 30% of any sales you’ve helped generate. Sounds pretty nice, doesn’t it?
Here are some other companies with affiliate programs:
AmazoneBayiTunes
The second type of affiliate scheme is one found on one of the huge affiliate networks like Tradedoubler, for example. Hundreds of merchants are signed up to these networks hoping that potential affiliates will promote them on their sites. That makes things a lot easier for you - it’s easy to find merchants that fit the content of your site, as they’re all gathered in one place. In addition, you usually get good commission rates because the companies are competing against each other to woo you. It’s usually free and once you’ve joined you’ll be able to choose the best banners and text ads for your site.
In both types of affiliate schemes, you will be paid either a cash amount or a percentage of the sale that occurred as a result of someone clicking on the ad on your site. It’s up to you how much you want to promote the product advertised on your sites. Some websites are specifically designed for the promotion of a company’s product and some of these websites make a lot of money. If you can build a site that gets a lot of traffic (that generates lots of sales), perhaps you CAN be the new Bill Gates!
