Any search or query on a crawler-based search engine like Google or Yahoo results in display of thousands or millions of matching web sites. In most case however only the first ten are the most relevant matches found and are commonly displayed on the first results page. It therefore becomes very obvious that any webmaster would target to keep his website in the first 10 results. One other reason for this being that any visitor is most likely to find his search in the first ten results. Moreover listing beyond the ten would take the website listing beyond the first results page and thus missing the visitor's eye. The following tips and tricks may help you the webmaster to get closer to the goal of getting on to that first 10 results. They should appear in greater density in first one or two paragraphs.
Avoid usage of tables at the top of the page. This may result in pushing down the content; as a result the keywords will not appear ''higher'' on the page.
